So much loss in such a short timeframe...

In the last three weeks,  I have lost three family members. 

I am wondering if you can run out of tears like you run out of sugar? Or dishwashing liquid? Or air? I feel like I am running out of air. 

When special people are around you, you; you breath different. Your breath is easy, you find your anxiousness at abeyance. Once you are positive you will never see them again, you have one less reason to inhale. 

I want you to cherish every moment you share with anyone you care for, and even those you are no longer fond of. Once they are permanently removed from your life your breath pattern changes. Trust me. I have too much experience with this fact of life.

So I met this guy.

Yes my husband knows all about it. He wrote a book. Now I am brutally honest. So here goes. I don't like the book. But that is the last negative thing I will say.

This author is great. He is graphic, descriptive, imaginative and most of all talented. I had to finish it even though the genre is way beyond me. 

(I have issues they go deep and wide, often I am called strange. But I am pretty and I don't mind keeping my mouth shut so you won't know these issues are contagious.)

Back to the book...

Soul Stealers is about dead people... I have always had a problem with dead people and death and all that kinda thing. The theory introduced here is intriguing and tantalizing. I am sure it will keep you up at nights for a plethora of reasons. The reason it kept me up is because it is well written and beautifully developed but most of all it but the Thrill in Thriller. 

Great job Steve!

Re-retiring

As I end this project, on time, on budget and ready to go home. I thank all my co-workers who want to join their families also.

I am one who loves camping as long as I am close enough to plumbing to leave the campsite. So reading about an independent woman who does not mind being in the woods is amazing. Living vicariously is what reading is all about. Add a gorgeous man who will end up shirtless (distracting though it maybe) all of a sudden I want a tent and campfire. In real life, the love to hate to love you is a bit off putting, but it works with this couple. In reality if they could have gotten rid of the incompetent team surrounding them. Forgot about the research for a few days and simply soak in to each other for 48 hours, there would be no book. So the fire and ice, push and pull, ying and yang…I simply loved the trip around the world and back. Becca should take her sister next time and wash some designer off her…jes sayin’. I plan to read a few more Rossi books this year and looking forward to it.

When it rains...it doesn't always pour. This time it does

DUBLIN IN THE RAIN

As a man, JP is as masculine, chivalrous, handsome, amorous, experienced, savvy, perceptive, dense, industrious, smart, dimwitted, and manly as any man could expect and of course this is expected because this story is written from a man’s point of view. But Sophie is beautiful, womanly, naive, sexy, girly, tempered, soft, seductive and just strong enough to make every woman love her, envy her, admire her and know that a part of her is her…this is surprising because again it is written in a man’s voice ~ so how could this be so. The twist and turns made me tear and almost cry. NO SPOILERS but I went to sleep melancholy because of total absorption in this story. I am enamored with this writer and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dublin in the Rain.

READ THIS BOOK

I am not politically correct by any means. The one little filter that tells your mouth how to sweeten a remark is missing. It I am often quiet “at the oddest” times. Only because my mom told me to keep my mouth shut if you do not have anything nice to say.

Well Ruby is just the opposite, she smiles and 'day dreams' the things that I would verbalize (but should not say). Until one day…

I will tell you there is a happy conclusion to this book. I hope there is a sequel in the short story because I want to know exactly what happens next. I will tell you Monica Handy has a talent for words. I will tell you her imagination (both of them) is limitless. But I wont tell you the plot or give away any spoilers. Get your own copy. I will not even lend you mine because #Indiewriters must eat also.

Buy this book it is a quick pick you up with a twist and turn and a bump you up. But don’t get me twisted. You will NOT roll over Ruby she has pizzazz. You won’t soon forget her. (Ruby or Monica)
